Obsidian for Note Taking
I've always been a fan of taking notes, and as I'm setting up my digital garden, I'm also looking to revamp my note-taking system. I have used Roam, Notion, Outline, Apple Notes, Evernote, OneNote, Nuclino, and many other apps - somehow, they all seem to be either missing something or costly for my personal use.
I've been meaning to try Obsidian for a while now, and finally, I've had the chance to do so. Today, I exported all my notes from Outline into Obsidian and created links between them to visualize the connection between notes.
Now, I need to go through the more difficult process of importing my Evernote and Notion notes into it.
I'm storing the notes in a private GitHub repo, and I don't intend to use the app on mobile, so I believe a Git repo will work just fine for my needs.
Let's see how this evolves and aids with my digital garden.
